FUTO Acceptance fee is an amount required to be paid by candidates offered admission into the Federal University of Technology Owerri. It indicates that they have accepted the admission offer given to them by the university.
It also shows that they are willing and ready to complete the remaining admission processes and registration required to become a full-fledged student of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO).
Failure to pay the acceptance fee within the stipulated time/date will mean the candidate does not accept the admission offer given to them by the university.

FUTO Acceptance Fee 2025 Payment Guidelines
A. CHECK YOUR FUTO ADMISSION STATUS
After viewing your admission notification slip,
- Update O’ level verification details by clicking on the green link
- Enter your O’ level details as required and submit
B. ACCOUNT VERIFICATION
- Proceed to sign up and verify your portal account
- Select the required fields and enter a functional email address
- Submit your details. An email will be sent to your functional email address.
- Click on the link sent to your email to activate your account
- Copy your Username and Password and login into your portal account
C. PORTAL ACCOUNT
- In your portal account, change your password
- Complete your profile
- Generate an acceptance invoice
- Proceed to any bank for payment or alternatively, pay online with your ATM card
- Return to the portal for acceptance receipt
- Print admission letter and other particulars
- Generate school fee invoice
- Proceed to any bank for payment or alternatively, pay online with your ATM card
- Return to the portal for school fee receipt
