EkoUNIMED Post UTME Form 2025/2026 Screening Application Process.

EkoUNIMED Post UTME Form: Eko University of Medical and Health Sciences, EkoUNIMED Post UTME admission screening registration and application form for 2025/2026 academic session is yet to be announced. This page covers full instructions and guidelines.

The portal for online registration is normally open between May, June or September of every year. Meanwhile, take your time and read through the eligibility requirement and application process provided below.

Last Year Updates

Eko University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ijanikin, Lagos State will conduct a Post-UTME screening for candidates who wish to be admitted into the University for 2025/2026 Academic year.

Programmes Available

1. Faculty of Clinical Sciences

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor Surgery (MBBS) – Duration 5 or 6years

2. Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences

• BSc. in Human Anatomy
• BSc. in Medical Biochemistry
• BSc. in Human Physiology
• BSc. in Pharmacology

Duration of Programmes – 3 or 4years

Admission Requirements

COMPULSORY ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL CANDIDATES

1. All Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in the SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level through WAEC/NECO (or equivalent recognised by the University) in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and at not more than two (2) sittings for Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences.
2. Candidates shall satisfy any additional criteria with respect to suitability including interview.

SPECIFIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MBBS DEGREES PROGRAMME

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

1. Graduates from Universities recognised by EkoUNIMED in Basic Medical Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Biological Sciences, Zoology (B.Sc. 2nd Class Lower Division) Or
2. GCE A-level / HSC passes in Biology/Zoology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics, (Good A- level passes) Or
3. JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board) passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics (Good A- level passes).

FACULTY OF BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES

1. Science Graduates from Universities recognised by the institution  (At least , B.Sc. 2nd Class Lower Division), Or
2. NCE at credit level, ND and approved equivalents with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields.
3. GCE A-level/ HSC passes in Biology/zoology, chemistry and Physics / Mathematics, Or
4. IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Borad), JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board) passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics / Mathematics, Or other Foundation Programmes recognised by the institution

ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA

The following shall be eligible for the screening:

UTME Candidates

1. UTME Candidates that choose the University with a minimum score of 160 for Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) and 140 for BSc programmes in the 2025/2026 UTME Results.

2. UTME Candidates who did not choose the University but with a minimum score of 160 in the 2025/2026 UTME Results and ready to change to the University as first choice by August, 2025.

Direct Entry Candidates

1. Candidates with’ A’ Level/JUPEB Results (Sciences) minimum 10 points or

2. First Degree with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower in relevant disciplines who had applied for Direct Entry Admission through JAMB into the University.

SCREENING DATE AND VENUE

The Post-UTME would be conducted through written and oral format.

Date: Tuesday 6th August 2025

Venue: Multi-Purpose Hall of the University, EkoUNIMED, Ijanikin, Lagos.

MODE OF PAYMENT

Each eligible candidate will pay the sum of #2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only for Screening Exercise and administrative charges. Each candidate is expected to create a Profile through the University e-Portal https://ekounimed.edu.ng/applications and thereafter generate a Payment Invoice. Payment can be made through the same Portal.

NOTE: CREATION OF WRONG PROFILE/ MAKING PAYMENT WITH WRONG UTME REGISTRATION NUMBER WILL MAKE APPLICATION INVALID

MODE OF REGISTRATION

1. Visit the University Registration Website: https://ekounimed.edu.ng/applications and complete the Registration Form online, thereafter print out EkoUNIMED Post-UTME Screening Pass, One (1) week to Screening date. Any candidate with Problems while applying should call the following Telephone numbers 08106172902, +156312352, 08133954899

2. Each candidate should bring along the following to the venue of the screening:

i. EkoUNIMED Post-UTME Screening Pass

ii. NECO/WAEC Certificate/Result

iii. 2025/2026 UTME Result Slip

iv. D/E candidates should come with original copies + 2 copies each of all their credentials
