About Federal Polytechnic Offa (FPO)
The Federal Polytechnic, Offa is a Nigerian tertiary institution located in Offa, Kwara State. It was established in 1992. The polytechnic offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) courses at undergraduate levels.
It’s mission is to be a leading world-class Polytechnic within the shortest period of time. While its vision is to train skilful, knowledgeable, industrious and technological manpower needed for sustainable national development.
The Federal Polytechnic Offa came into existence in 1992. A presidential pronouncement for its establishment was made at the palace of His Royal Highness Olofa of Offa by then-President Ibrahim Babangida during a state visit in 1991.

PLEASE NOTE: The HND Full-Time (evening) programmes are primarily for the working class, who for the reason of employment cannot attend regular HND morning programmes.
Federal Poly Offa Admission Requirements
The entry requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes are as follow:
1. Candidates are required to possess National Diploma (ND), National Innovative Diploma (NID) in their chosen programme at not a grade below LOWER CREDIT Classification from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic, Monotechnic or Innovation Enterprise Institutions.
2. SSC, GCE O’level with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
3. The National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC) with credit level pass in a trade, plus four relevant academic subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics.
4. Candidates are required to have at least one-year post-National Diploma in Industrial Training experience.
NOTE:
However, candidates with pass grade at the ND/NID are eligible for consideration for admission provided they have a minimum of two (2) years post Industrial Training experience.
Every applicant for the Polytechnic HND Programme who did not obtain his/her ND from the Federal Polytechnic Offa is required to forward a copy of his/her National Diploma Transcript to the Office of the Registrar within Eight (8) weeks from the date of this advertisement.

How to Apply for Federal Poly Offa HND Admission Form
To apply online for Full-Time and Part-Time HND programmes, candidates are to visit the Polytechnic’s portal; www.fpo.edu.ng and click on admission to fill the application form.
Candidates are to upload a scanned copy of the certificate(s)/result(s) and other required documents as stated online.
