The Federal University, Dustin-ma is located in Dutsin-ma Local government Area of Katsina State, which is located in the North-Western region of Nigeria, bordering Niger Republic, Kaduna, Kano, and the Jigawa States.

The establishment of the Federal University Dutsin-ma along with eight other Federal Universities is in line with the Federal Government of Nigeria’s determination to run a technology-driven economy with the aim of achieving the vision 20: 2024.

It aims also to further improve the nation’s knowledge base and expand access to education, which is a defining factor in the establishment of institutions of learning in Nigeria.

The overall goal of the establishment was to tackle the challenges of inadequate space for eligible university applicants.

Thus the nine new Federal Universities, which were established in States where none existed, are positioned to strike a balance between access, equity, and quality, thereby creating an avenue for the indigenous appreciation of educational values.

FUDMA Online Registration for Post UTME Screening Exercise

All eligible candidates are required to visit the University website: www.portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions to register and make a payment of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only for Post-UTME screening.

You are to note that an online preliminary screening exercise would be conducted via the screening form and no admission examination will be required of you at any time. The steps required are:

➢ Click on http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions

➢ Read the instruction carefully

➢ Ensure filling the correct information about your personal and academic data in the columns available

➢ Ensure putting a correct and active email in the column of your personal data

➢ Click on save for the submission of your data for further processing

➢ Go to the payment column for processing of the payment charges

➢ After payment, print the payment confirmation slip.

FUDMA Admission Requirements

All applicants seeking admission into FUDMA must possess the list requirement below;

➢ Applicant must be at least 16 year of age

➢ Applicant must at least possess a credit level passes in Five (5) subjects including English language and Mathematics and any other relevant subjects at the SSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level/NECO or its equivalent.

➢ The applicant must meet all Faculty and Departmental requirements.

➢ Applicant must obtain an acceptable score at the compulsory University post UTME screening test;

NOTE: Mathematics is compulsory for all science-based courses.

FUDMA Direct Entry Admission Requirements

Candidates who wish to gain admission through direct entry into the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) must meet the following requirements:

➢ Candidates must possess at least five (5) Credits in their O’level result. This must include English Language and Mathematics. However, two sitting result is not allowed.

➢ Candidates must have also reached the age of 16.

➢ Candidates are expected to get a JAMB Directly entry form from JAMB to apply.

➢ Candidates should have any of the following certificates: OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, ICAN

FUDMA UTME Admission Requirements

To gain admission into the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma in 2024, UTME candidates must meet the following requirements:

➢ Candidates must have reached the age of 16.

➢ Candidates must have at least 6 (six) “Cs (Credits)” grades in their O’level result (s). This must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects related to their course of study.

For instance, a Candidate that wants to study law must have a “C” in English Language, Mathematics, Government/History, Economics, and Literature in English.

➢ Candidates must score at least 160 in the JAMB UTME examination

➢ Candidates must take the FUDMA post UTME screening examination and must perform very well in the examination(Depending on the course of study)

➢ Not more than ONE sitting results is accepted for admission into the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA)

➢ Candidates must choose the correct subject combination for their courses.

➢ Finally, candidates must meet the stipulated cutoff marks for their courses to gain admission into the university.
