Breaking News: Lagos varsity hikes tuition fee

In a recent development, Lagos State University (LASU) has implemented a substantial increase in tuition fees for incoming students. According to reliable sources at Campusinfo, the new fee structure includes a staggering 55.2% hike for Stream 1 and a 20% increase for Stream 2 candidates.

Effective immediately, new students enrolling in the university will be required to pay N90,000, a significant surge from the previous N58,000 for Stream 1, and N180,000 for Stream 2 candidates, compared to their earlier fees.

Campusinfo’s correspondent confirmed, “The increment has nothing to do with the old students. They will continue to pay their N58,000 and N150,000, respectively, until they graduate. However, the incoming students are the ones affected by the new fee structure.”
