The University of Abuja’s UNIABUJA Admission Portal is now available to students. This site provides information on the University of Abuja’s academic activities to all former and prospective students.
Furthermore, on this portal, new students and returning students will be given almost all the information they need. This is to make their study easier and much better in the institution.
About the University of Abuja
This is a tertiary institution in the Nigerian capital, Abuja. And it was established on January 1, 1988. This was under Decree No. 110 of 1992 as amended.
And it was a dual-mode university with the mandate to run conventional and distance learning programmes.
Academic work began in the University in 1990 with the matriculation of its pioneer students.
However, the University took off from a temporary site, made up of three blocks of building meant for a primary school in Gwagwalada, tagged the “mini–campus”.
Academic activities started on the mini–campus in 1990. But in the same year, the University was allocated an expanse of land covering over 11,800 hectares along the Abuja city centre – Gwagwalada road for the development of its main campus.

The Authority of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has enabled the student portal. And this online portal is created for formal and prospective students of the University.
Also, it is to create an account or log in to perform certain academic actions at ease. Example:

3. Additionally, it is to process transcript and view the academic calendar

6. Also, click “Submit” and they will redirect you to remita payment page.
7. Enter ATM card (Mastercard or Visa)number and other details and submit
8. Also, enter “OTP code” sent to your phone and click continue to complete your payment.
9. After a successful payment, click on “Main login” on the portal, enter your Jamb registration number and Surname as a password.
10. Additionally, click on “Login to dashboard” and complete your registration.
11. Also, ensure you print the completed registration form, payment receipt and exam schedule.

1. Visit https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng
2. Click on “Click here to apply“
3. On the left pane, click on Postgraduate
4. Also, enter the requested details (surname, first name, other names, email and phone number) and click Next
5. Additionally, on the payment preview page, click on Generate RRR
6. Additionally, click make payment and we will redirect you to remita platform, enter your card details (Master Card or Visa Card)
7. Also, after a successful payment, you will be redirected back to the portal and application number generated and you will be logged out.
8. Furthermore, click on “Main Login“, enter the generated application number and surname as passwords to continue the application process
